It's Friday And Quiting Time

It’s Friday and for those of us still at the grind TGIF. I remember working for Quebec Steel Products in Lachine just a few years ago, right!!! On Friday a few of my buddies, the names that come to mind are Bill Springgay, Gerry Romano, Jim Yates, and George Bourcier, would hatch a plan that would allow us to start our weekend early around 3 o’clock. We would get sick suddenly from lunch of course, or get a home emergency phone call always a good one, we all tried everything we could to get off early. Success would come to a few of us each time we would try this and we would head to our favorite watering hole and wait for rest of our buddies. This Friday ritual has remained imbedded in me to this day… It’s Friday and I am out of here. Enjoy the weekend with your friends and family. Elton
